Bishop Gilpin After school Taekwondo

Our programme is overseen by Head Coach Jibreel Malik, a former Team GB athlete who has represented Great Britain at World and European Championships, as well as multiple international competitions. Jibreel ensures the curriculum follows the highest technical and coaching standards.

Supporting him are our exceptional team coaches:

Students will learn basic blocks, hand strikes and Kicks, as well as learning basic sparring techniques. After school club sessions will not involve students making contact on each other, striking pads will be used for students to deliver their techniques.

Coach Taim – National Champion and member of the Team GB Development Squad. Taim leads our Little Kickers programme at Peak Performance and specialises in building strong foundations for younger students through fun, high-energy, and structured sessions.

Coach Ahmad – A 3× National Champion and member of the Team GB Development Squad. Ahmad is a dedicated club coach at Peak Performance, known for his technical precision and ability to help students rapidly improve their kicking skills, coordination, and confidence.

Together, our coaching team delivers a high-quality afterschool Taekwondo experience designed to help every child progress safely, confidently, and with enjoyment.
